I’m Angie Gascho and I write books for young people. After years in education, I decided to create stories drawing on those experiences. My hope is to inspire a love of reading and learning while celebrating the joys and challenges of becoming the individual you are meant to be in this world.

Angie Gascho is a writer based in San Francisco, California. Currently, she writes and reviews middle-grade novels. Drawing on her experience as an educator for over 25 years, Angie's work is focused on inspiring a lifelong love of reading and belief in oneself.
Whether teaching middle/high school English or incarcerated women, Angie's mission has always been to help her students celebrate their individuality and worth as human beings. In 2018, she was an Award of Excellence Honoree by the Greater San Diego Reading Association for her efforts in promoting literacy. She holds a B.A. in English Literature from Syracuse University, a Single-Subject Teaching Credential from The University of San Francisco, and an Ed.D. in Organizational Change and Leadership from The University of Southern California.
